1.PDF Report

The information is structured in graphical and tabular form with Issue details, Issue Impact and Insights for structuring a Resolution Plan available against each individual issue. This can be presented to senior leadership.
2. Spreadsheet Report
– A Technical Report of affected objects that provides a list of queried objects and additional relevant information for each object across every test. This is mostly used by the Technical team for remediating issues.

Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 or newer .NET Framework 4.5 or higher Storage: 10 GB of space on HDD RAM: 6 GB of RAM Network: Ensure machine has connectivity to all AD Forest Domain Controllers, Sites and DNS Servers.

O365 IT Scanner is licensed per Active Directory Forest basis. Licenses are issued against AD Forest names (FQDN’s).
How long are licenses valid for?
Licenses are valid for a period of 1 year from the date of activation.

Executing Assessments
How is an assessment executed?
O365 IT Scanner is a plug and play software. A Risk Assessment can be executed in 4 steps:
1.Install O365 IT Scanner and Run as Administrator;
a.Activate the Report Dashboard using your Licenses;
2.Ensure DC and WMI connectivity test (automated) shows green across the board;
3.Select the Tests you wish to run and click “Scan”;
4.Import Assessment Data into the Dashboard to review results and publish reports.
Data & Network Security when using O365 IT Health & Risk Scanner
Is it SAFE to use O365 IT Scanner? Does any data leave the environment?
Yes! O365 IT Scanner is an absolutely safe and secure tool for executing IT Risk Assessments. A fully offline dashboard is available to ensure not a shred of Assessment Data comes out of your environment.
Will the Scanner change anything in the environment?
No! As part of the Risk Assessment, the Scanner scans your environment extensively and records the findings (Locally in an encrypted file) but does not change anything in the target environment. Running an Assessment with the Scanner is a READ ONLY operation. Your environment, its configuration and its objects stay as is.
Scheduled Reports and Automated Assessments
Can Assessments be Automated?
O365 IT Scanner provides Scheduling features out of the box. Pre-selected Saved Tests can be scheduled to run automatically as preferred.
Are reports available via email?
Yes. In addition to scheduling Assessments, you can have Assessment Reports for Scheduled Tests delivered to you via email.
